I went through three rounds of interviews with your team — two rounds with the manager and team members, followed by an assignment round. I’m glad to share that I successfully cleared all the stages and the discussions were very positive.
After that, we had an initial conversation regarding salary expectations. I was informed that you would reconnect with the finalized budget as there seemed to be a mismatch in expectations. However, after that discussion in February, I did not receive any further communication.
Considering the lack of response for quite some time, I assumed the position might have been closed or the company had moved forward with another candidate. However, I recently received an email from you asking to connect at 4 PM today, which raised my expectations again. Unfortunately, the call did not happen.
I completely understand that hiring processes can change and priorities may shift. However, consistent communication is extremely important for candidates who have invested significant time and effort throughout the process.
At this point, I would really appreciate a clear update on the status of my application. Even if the decision is not to proceed, a transparent response would be highly appreciated.
