We have officially kicked off our Beyond the Bio Black History Month mini-series, spotlighting the history of the work we’ve been doing in and with the Black community #atBain. Check out our first episode featuring Adrienne King, executive VP of Americas Talent Management and Modupe Akinola, associate professor of management at Columbia Business School and a #BainAlum. You’ll hear about their journeys and how they built a framework to recruit and retain members of our Blacks at Bain (BABs) network. #BHMatBain
Today, we, together with The Bridgespan Group and 30+ organizations, come together to announce the formation of #OneTen, a coalition of American companies using our resources and influence to upskill, hire and promote one million Black Americans over the next 10 years into family-sustaining jobs with opportunities for advancement. “I am incredibly proud to join this growing coalition to make meaningful, measurable, and lasting impact on racial and economic justice and to create a more equitable society,” said Manny Maceda, worldwide managing partner.
“The way Bain has supported me as a mom during COVID-19 has been remarkable. There's a great deal of empathy and flexibility.” We’re proud to be recognized by @GPTW_US for our continuous efforts to create a great work environment for parents – one that ensures moms and dads have the flexibility to achieve long-term career success.
Beyond the Bio is back with new episodes! Hear the stories of some extraordinary Bain people, from their perspectives. You can read their business bios online, but those barely scratch the surface of who they are and the important work they’re doing. Check it out! https://bit.ly/2FS2pfn
