Internal messaging from the company is somewhat vague and inconsistent, as to why certain decisions are made, especially surrounding partnerships and big layoffs. Job expectations are not clearcut and communication between departments can sometimes be completely lacking. Confusion may arise as a result of layoffs, where responsibilities are not exactly well defined and aligned between teams after layoffs.
Unfortunately, Bitpanda has great potential to be a leading cryptobroker in Europe, but the culture is just not there, evidenced by the frequent layoffs, especially in the product and tech organisation. Shortsightedness in decision making is a real issue and the employee turnover is a big concern and drain on company resources which will be felt.
