      Great global company with a strong portfolio of software products. Very good compensation structure and nice learning and self development tools accesible for all employees.

      Minpunten

      SAP It’s integrated by a group of subsidiaries all over the world and even though they are supposed to behave and operate in a similar fashion, they don’t. The Mexico branch is a region where the management does the opposite from what it says. They don’t respect the individuals; don’t foster the internal promotion and development of the people; allow bad business practices as nepotism and they don’t respect the customers. From my point of view, the lost the way in the intent of keeping the sales results.

      The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

      Minpunten

      Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
