Recruiter reached out me to invite a hiring event. As it was in another country, I asked whether they provide support for visa and transfer. The recruiter asked for my availability for an interview as the reply. I was planning to apply for a similar position in another country, so I asked the details for the position they are considering, whether it is a general application or for a specific position. I had some other constraints, but she replied none of them. They arranged the interview. I asked details to HR in the department that I was going to interview with. She referred me to the recruiter, who kept ignoring my questions. Without having any feedback from the recruiter about my concerns, I went into the phone interview. The questions was very easy and basic. Coding question was also very simple and I wrote it. The interview took around 40 minutes. The same day, I got the rejection email. I asked whether I can apply to another position, which I was originally willing to apply, to the recruiter. Guess what, she ignored this email as well! I understand that recruiters are busy but they are taking our times as well, so they should at least reply candidates' emails! I did interviews with another tech giant, whose process started with a one-hour phone call with the recruiter to understand both sides' needs. There is no excuse for Amazon to ignore candidates.

Call with a recruiter followed by technical interview. The technical interview covered broad Machine learning questions. Then the coding part. The problem required prior knowledge of a calculus theorem, which in my opinion was not fair.
