It seemed like he may have been drawing upon conversations at other companies from long ago, possibly deleted social media accounts, and other sources. - Virtual Onsite: Instead of a single round with a manager asking all the "behavioral" questions, every round started with multiple "behavioral" questions of the most confrontational, negative variety, until only 15-20 minutes remained, at which point they switched gears and asked a hard or medium LeetCode question or architectural design problem. The manager actually seemed nice, and asked reasonable questions by comparison, but then was very evasive about divulging any information about the team that I could use to determine if I would like to work with them.
