The entire process was a mixed bag. As someone who’s worked at Salesforce before and understands the interview process well, I was truly disappointed by how things unfolded. The initial recruiter screen and first peer interview were smooth – the interviewer was professional, knowledgeable, and embodied the Salesforce culture.
But things fell apart at the second stage. The interview with a team leader was rescheduled multiple times – from the office to a Starbucks near the office, and finally to another Starbucks closer to the interviewer’s "home". On the day, he hadn’t even read my resume and clearly wasn’t prepared. What was supposed to be a 45-minute conversation dragged on for 90+ minutes. I mentioned I had to pick up my daughter and suggested a follow-up conversation -- but I never heard back. Very unprofessional.
To add to the frustration, I also signed up for the Salesforce Insider program and no one showed up. It’s been a deeply unprofessional experience and a stark contrast to the Salesforce I once knew. Unfortunately, this speaks volumes about the current state of leadership in India and candidate experience. Proceed with caution.
