Had a couple of conversations with the VMware recruiters. Then had first interview with hiring manager. It was a phone interview. I then had several phone interviews with other AEs and SEs on the team. Last, had face to face with SE I'd be working with. All interviews were very thorough and I was asked for detailed understand of the products I'd be selling.

Provide an example of a sales campaign and how I showed value to the customer.
The whole process was well organised. The interviews were great in all aspects. The questions asked were reliable. I enjoyed the overall process. Only thing I‘d recommend changing is, that candidades have to upload a CV and still fill out the past jobs on the candidade homepage.

Kurze Vorstellung und Kennenlernen, dann Austausch zum Backround, sowie zur Stelle. Die Art und Weise der Kommunikation war stets auf Augenhöhe und professionell. Auch die besprochenen Timelines wurden von VMWare vorbildlich eingehalten. Man fühlt sich gut abgeholt und betreut.

Been reached out by one of their talent recruiter. Did first interview with HR then a second with the hiring manager and then no news/no update. I get that my profile wasn’t selected but what’s wrong with not giving a reply? I was really surprised as it’s the first time that I’m getting no update at all from a tech company and so, even after following up (literally ghosted). Beyond my little ego, I ve found it offbeat in comparison to the VMWare overall reputation. I would suggest to have a bit more consideration for your candidates.
