After spending 2 years in the military, Axel del Lago joined Uber to apply the skills he had learned as a Lieutenant to a new career on the EMEA Customer Support team in Lisbon. “I served in the military for roughly more than 2 years and my experience from multiple training, missions and interdisciplinary relationships at the academy, as well as being assigned to a regiment of French Foreign Legion, turned out to be extremely valuable for my career journey at Uber,” shares Axel.
“The idea of tackling issues at a company with the technology and resources to do it at scale with a brand that’s embedded in communities and culture was compelling, which brought me to Uber.” From non-profits to international organizations, Abhinav Bahl has always worked to bring people together. With Uber’s scale and the ability to positively impact communities, he was convinced to join in 2019 and is now a leader on our EMEA leader Social Impact team.
