- Unfair promotions process - favouritism and bias. - Under-skilled staff, providing poor quality services to clients, with a very poor L&D offering to bring them up to an acceptable standard. - Non-existent performance management processes, leaving managers exposed and under-supported in performance conversations. - Demoralising to try to manage and upskill under-skilled staff while explaining to unimpressed clients why they weren't getting the outcomes / output they had paid for. - Sadly, a culture of bullying and harassment can and does flourish in this environment.
