What if you didn’t have to do everything yourself? 👀 We’re moving from searching, comparing, and booking to simply sharing what you’re looking for, and letting AI do the work within your preferences and control. At ING, this is already becoming reality. Together with Worldline, we’ve processed a fully end-to-end AI-driven transaction in production as a proof of concept, exploring what’s possible and what it takes to scale. For example: planning a special evening at the Royal Concertgebouw. 🎻 An AI agent helps you find the right option and completes the payment, based on what matters to you. "We’re excited about this concrete move towards shaping a future where seamless, intelligent interactions redefine the way we engage with banking and online shopping. For ING, this collaboration is the perfect opportunity to lay a solid foundation for our continued role as a trusted partner in an increasingly agentic future in banking. We look forward to making agentic commerce a great experience for all our customers, both private and business." Hans Overeem This shift changes how people interact with banking and commerce. Less doing everything yourself. More smart support when you need it. And we’re just getting started.
Every big tournament comes with millions of people standing behind one team. ⚽🦁 And with that, comes pressure. As excitement builds, emotions run high. And too often, support turns into online negativity when players need it most. This World Cup, ING is flipping the script. Making sure support is louder than pressure. Together with Ruud Gullit, Cody Gakpo and Jeremie Frimpong, we’re kicking off a movement where the whole country can show up for Oranje. Not just watching. But actively supporting. 🧡 Deel je liefde voor Oranje / Share your love for Oranje. Because this is when it matters most. #BoostOranje

Trading spreadsheets for spell sheets: press start at ING 🎮🎲 The internal ING Game Community organised a big game night! From (RPG) board games, retro and arcade games, miniature painting to karaoke. It was a celebration with something for everyone. A perfect mix of creativity, collaboration and fun. We also asked a few colleagues to describe their jobs as a video game. The answers were spot on: 💬@Lea – Customer Journey Expert “I would describe my job as *Age of Empires*. You get requirements and need to reach a certain goal, step by step.” 💬@Ellen – Software Developer “My job is like *Minecraft*. First, I need to understand exactly what to build. Then I build it, and finally I check whether what I built is actually what we wanted, or something different.” 💬@Ricardo – Solution Architect “My job is kind of like *Overcooked*. The orders keep changing, you’re trying to deliver something, and you just do your best. That’s all that’s asked of you.” Events like this remind us that games aren’t just about fun. They’re about problem‑solving, teamwork and adapting to change. Exactly the skills we use every day at ING.

AppDate is back!

At ING, we are proud of our Crossing team for organising a meaningful evening to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year. 🧡🌿 In a time of uncertainty and war, it was especially powerful to see so many Iranian and non Iranian colleagues come together. The event became a moment of solidarity, reflection, and connection. The Crossing team shared the history and symbolism of Nowruz and the Haft‑sin table, while a surprise appearance by Hajji Firuz (Abdorreza Mohagheghi), who brought music and energy to the evening. We also reflected on a poem (Majid Abarghooei) by Hafez and a beautiful Farsi expression, “delam barat tang shode”, which means: “my heart has become tight for you”. It is a beautiful reminder that at ING, language and culture aren't just for communication, they are for deep human connection. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make this a warm and inclusive celebration. Here’s to a year of paving the road together toward a more inclusive and hopeful future. 🌷
