Pluspunten
- You can earn a salary - You can work in the office near Wynyard or in Tuggerah - You can gain access to multiple systems with ease - Most times management have no idea what you're doing so it's a good thing of you like to work independently - As ING teams are small there is opportunities to learn the end to end life cycle of the work you're involved in or produced (what you do, where it goes, who does what with it)
Minpunten
- Aggressive management hierarchy, top down ruling where your thoughts and opinions are not welcomed from those above. They will get discarded and you may get insulted or spoken about in secret why you even suggested such a thing - Be prepared to be worked into the ground! Any plea you have on getting support is met with deaf ears. This company can cause you serious burnout as most people work overtime & on weekends without additional pay that soon becomes an expectation just to cope with the workload that is beyond your capacity - Being Australia's first digital Bank the companies processes and method of approach to utilising skills is stagnant, often you are told what to do and it is frowned upon if you complete the task in a method that management are not familiar with - Highly toxic work political system, people are placed in roles where they possess no experience to even perform the duties required for the postion but due to the existing favouritism they earn these roles - Change is highly disliked, you can suggest potential gains if preventative action is taken but it will only become important if management deem it important, so save your breath from sharing anything - Some staff hidden within their jokes are crude, rude insults where the line is crossed to be considered as banter. Often you need to defend yourself from these types of people
