To drive this evolution, we're looking for an experienced Java Engineer to ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, Agile and international environment.

Are you an experienced Java developer eager about building robust systems? Headfirst Group is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, contributing significantly to our core infrastructure and backend solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be part of the development of scalable Java-based backend services.
• Develop automation and integrations to streamline onboarding and operations worldwide.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure system stability.
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Have a solid understanding of backend (Java 21, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
• Have a strong commitment for both high-quality, maintainable code and effective delivery
• Experience with RESTful APIs, monorepo architecture, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with databases and data integration techniques.
• Proven experience applying AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in day-to-day engineering workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, VS Code, or equivalent tools, while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
